Welcome to the discovery and support available by walking a Shamanic Path and the study of the Sacred Hoop of Life. Shamanism encompasses an ancient form of not only spiritual healing, but offers a true connection with the spirits of nature; the elements of earth, air, fire and water; the four legged; the winged ones; those that swim; the standing people and the creepy crawlies.
Explore walking a shamanic path by practicing earth based spirituality and embracing medicine wheel work which has been for thousands of years practiced by our ancestors of every culture. It is not only for tribal people, it is a heritage available to all people. Shamanism is not a religion and is open to all. It is a way of life that re-connects us to the earth and the web of all living things. Shamanism has a very real application in today’s world. We have removed ourselves far from the natural world – where our bodies and souls can be nourished. I refer to this connection as Soul-Food. The teachings presented on this web site will be from a Cross-Cultural Shamanic perspective. No attempt is made to mimic or take traditions that are held sacred to various groups of peoples. Our Trading Post. We are pleased to share with you crafts and arts reflecting Native work from around the world. Many these fine products are made by hand by artisans, families and community co-ops. Some are authentic Native American made while other represent Native American Style work. This helps to keep their traditions alive through use of art, song, dance and stories; teaching each new generation the history of their people. In this way through they support themselves and enrich our lives with their beautiful work. Watch for our monthly newsletter which will contain areas for exploration and have things you can do on your own or with a group of friends. Subscribe by adding your name and email in the form on the left. It will be easy to unsubscribe at any time.
* What is the Medicine Wheel? Many groups of people are coming together to celebrate the unity in diversity given to us by the Creator. Our obligation is to honor and respect each other as well as the Earth Mother. If anything we honor Native People and learn from them the lessons we need to embrace. These are teachings for all the people and we will walk in humbleness upon the earth. Blessings to you and your spirit walk ... Tana "Blue Deer Woman" |
